My Audi A4 has a DPF warning light — does that affect the scrap price?
Not significantly. A clogged DPF is one of the most common reasons A4s come to us, and the breakers we work with are used to seeing them. The 2.0 TDI engine itself, gearbox, and turbo all retain value separately from the DPF. We'll still pay £180-£320 for a typical DPF-failed A4.
What about the S4 and RS4? Are they worth more as scrap?

Will you collect my A4 if the keys are lost?
Yes. We bring a recovery truck and can move the car without keys. We do need either the V5C (logbook) or proof of ownership to handle the DVLA disposal correctly — we'll walk you through what's needed when you message us.
Do I need to be there when you collect the car?
Yes — we'll need to see your ID, the V5C if you have it, and have you sign the disposal paperwork. The whole collection takes about 10-15 minutes.
What if I've lost the V5C (logbook)?
Not a problem. We can still collect — we'll help you handle the DVLA notification. It just takes a little longer to process.
Will I get a Certificate of Destruction?
Yes. We deliver every car to a licensed Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF) and the CoD comes through to you within 7-14 days. This is what legally clears you of any future liability for the car.
