Why Renaults end up at the scrap stage
Renaults are often scrapped due to electrical issues (notorious on older Meganes and Lagunas), diesel particulate filter problems, and worn-out clutches on the older Clios. Captur and Kadjar models are scrapped less frequently — usually after accident damage.
Popular Renault models we collect
Yours not on the list? Doesn't matter — we collect every Renault model. Just send us the reg.
What your Renault is actually worth
Renault parts are reasonable but not premium — engines are shared with Nissan (same alliance) which broadens the parts pool. Bodywork on common models like the Clio sells well.
We don't give made-up "instant quote" numbers like the comparison sites — those are designed to lowball you. We shop your Renault around to multiple licensed scrap yards, find the one paying the most for your specific car right now, and pass that price on to you. That's why our quotes routinely beat the online instant offers — and why we're confident enough to say: we'll beat any genuine quote you've got.
Mix of long-term Clio owners and 2nd-owner Megane drivers facing an expensive electrical or mechanical fix.
How it works
1. WhatsApp us with your reg
Send the registration number, the model, and a quick description of the condition (running, non-running, MOT failure, etc.). One photo is helpful but not essential.
2. We shop it around and quote you
We get prices from the licensed scrap yards we work with and come back to you with the best one — usually within minutes. No obligation if you don't like the number.
3. We collect, pay you, and handle the paperwork
Once you accept, we arrange a collection time that suits you — same-day where possible. We pay you cash on collection, take the car to a licensed Authorised Treatment Facility, and make sure your DVLA notification and Certificate of Destruction come through properly.
Any condition — we'll take it
We collect Renaults in any state, including:
Renault scrap — frequently asked
Do I need to be there when you collect the car?
Yes — we'll need to see your ID, the V5C if you have it, and have you sign the disposal paperwork. The whole collection takes about 10-15 minutes.
What if I've lost the V5C (logbook)?
Not a problem. We can still collect — we'll help you handle the DVLA notification. It just takes a little longer to process.
How quickly can you collect?
Same-day collection is usually possible if you message us in the morning, especially in the SS, SS3, and surrounding postcodes. WhatsApp is the fastest way to lock in a slot.
